Copyright in Teaching & Learning at HKAPA: Plagiarism Prevention

Plagiarism Prevention

Students are reminded to respect intellectual property rights and observe copyright when preparing their work and conducting research.  The Academy's Guidelines for Students on Academic Honesty, Plagiarism and Acknowledgement of Sources are provided in the Students Handbook for observations by all students.

Proper acknowledgement of the sources is crucial in academic honesty.  It is necessary to cite the sources whenever you use a source of information as your inspiration, in direct quotation, for paraphrasing or in other occasions.  For detailed guidelines, please refer to the Library Guide on Plagiarism Prevention and Citing Sources.
