Subject Guide - Music: Finding Library Resources

Searching Primo@Lib

The majority of library resources can be found using Primo@Lib.

By selecting from the pull down menu, you can choose:

1. Library Catalogue to search for anything in the Library Collection

2. Library Catalogue+ to search for anything in the Library Collection plus online contents from subscribed e-databases on journal articles, multimedia resources, etc.

3. Course Reserves to search for materials recommended by course lecturer for a particular course

4. HKAPA Digital to search for digitized materials of the Academy Archive and local performing arts resources preserved in this repository

Course Reserve

Course Reserves are materials recommended by course lecturer for a particular course. Materials in Course Reserve Collection are kept at the Circulation Counter of the Academy Library or the F/TV Library according to the instruction of lecturer.

Select Course Reserves from the pull down menu on Primo@Lib, and enter course information, such as course titles, course number, lecturer's name to search for materials.

 

Cannot find what you need

Request for Inter-Library Loan and Suggest a Purchase

If you cannot find what you need in the Academy Libraries, you can try searching libraries of other university libraries in Hong Kong and the Library will make arrangement to borrow books through Inter-Library Loans or to obtain a copy of a journal article.

You can search catalogues of other libraries and complete the Inter-Library Loan request form.

You may request the Library to purchase the item by completing the online form "Suggest a Purchase"
