Open Coursewares (OCW) are free and open digital publication of high quality college and university‐level educational materials.  
These materials are organized as courses, and often include course planning materials and evaluation tools as well as thematic content.
Open Coursewares are free and openly licensed, accessible to anyone, anytime via the internet.

MIT OpenCourseWare A free and open online publication of educational material from thousands of MIT courses, covering the entire MIT curriculum, ranging from introductory to the most advanced graduate courses.

Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) are online educational platforms for free online courses.

However, OER offers flexible sharing through Creative Commons, while MOOCs face stricter copyright limitations.

Coursera Coursera partners with more than 300 leading universities and companies to bring flexible, affordable, job-relevant online learning to individuals and organizations worldwide.
edX edX is the online learning platform from world-leading digital education company 2U, Inc. edX was founded by Harvard and MIT.
The Open University - OpenLearn Produced by The Open University, a world leader in open and distance learning, all OpenLearn courses are free to study. 
XuetangX
