Creative Summer : How to be Creative

Creative Process

The creative process involves coming up with new ideas, art, or thinking in a structured way. It starts with gathering inspiration and ends with a finished product. Though the middle stages vary per person, there is an overall structure:

  • Preparation
  • Incubation
  • Illumination
  • Evaluation
  • Verification / Implementation

Familiarizing yourself with this process lets you fully develop your best ideas. It encourages exploration, experimentation, and creating something you're proud of.
