A Vaccine Pass Required for Accessing the Academy Library

From 24 Feb 2022, vaccine pass is required by all who enter the Academy. Library members are required to have received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine after 24 Feb 2022, and then at least two doses of COVID-19 vaccine after 21 Apr 2022.

Submission of Vaccination Record to the Library

To facilitate quick access when visiting the Academy, Library members are required to provide the following information to the Library for record in advance:

  1. Copy of the COVID-19 vaccination record
  2. Screencap of the COVID-19 vaccination record in the LeaveHomeSafe mobile application plus copy of your HKID showing your full name and the last 3 digits
  3. For those who are unfit for vaccination, please submit the medical proof.


*For library members who are unfit for vaccination, they are required to produce

  1. A valid COVID-19 test with negative result for gaining entry to the Academy. 
  2. Each COVID-19 test result is only valid for 3 days.

The Library has emailed all current members about the required submission on 16 Feb 2022.

New Application / Renewal
You will be asked to submit the COVID-19 vaccination record during the process of application and/or renewal of library card. If the above information is not provided, the application will not be processed.
